The Nightly On: celebrating women in leadership – The latest edition of Australia’s most engaging and influential new magazine – The Nightly On – delves into the mindset of some of our most prominent and impactful female leaders.
Featuring exclusive interviews with some of Australia’s biggest stars – of sport, space, politics, media, fashion and business – The Nightly On Leadership taps into the grit and determination, the talent and tenacity that has driven their success.
From a shy swimmer who went on to become Australia’s most decorated Olympian, to a young girl with stars in her eyes who never gave up on realising her dream to become an astronaut.
From a country kid with a desire to serve her community who now wears the badge of Australia’s first female Federal Police Commissioner to a household name, a soccer star, who has carved her place in the world.
Featured in the issue are Olympic champion Emma McKeon, astronaut and Australian of the Year Katherine Bennell-Pegg, AFP Commissioner Krissy Barrett and internationally acclaimed soccer sensation Sam Kerr.
The Nightly On Leadership also includes interviews with Paralympian powerhouse Madison de Rozario, trailblazing former Governor-General Quentin Bryce, passionate New South Wales Opposition Leader Kellie Sloane and Seven Network’s Director of Morning Television Sarah Stinson.
The Nightly’s editor Sarah-Jane Tasker said The Nightly On Leadership captured the spirit of pioneering women across a diverse range of fields.
“Each of them carries a certain charisma that defines their success,”
– she said.
“The interviews pulled together by our magazine editor Jay Hanna showcase an exceptional collection of leaders.”
Jay Hanna said the edition captured the “courage, resilience and determination of women who inspire us all with their strength and conviction”.
“The Nightly On Leadership explores how success isn’t always linear and sometimes it is the setbacks, the recalibrations or a brave change of direction that reap the largest rewards.”
