The 98th Oscars® are coming to Seven and 7plus, the only place in Australia to catch all the action live and free.
From 5.30am on Monday 16 March, Sunrise will have full coverage of the most anticipated awards show of the year, with Seven’s Mylee Hogan reporting live from the Dolby Theatre® at Ovation Hollywood.
The Oscars® Red Carpet Live Show follows live at 9.30am AEDT on Seven and streaming live nationally on 7plus.
The 98th Oscars® ceremony is live and exclusive in Australia from 10.00am AEDT on Seven and 7plus, with an encore screening at 9.00pm.
Emmy® Award-winning television host, writer, producer and comedian Conan O’Brien will host, alongside a star-studded lineup of presenters including Will Arnett, Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kieran Culkin, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Anne Hathaway, Chase Infiniti, Mikey Madison, Paul Mescal, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Gwyneth Paltrow, Maya Rudolph and Zoe Saldaña.
Rose Byrne and Jacob Elordi are spearheading an Australian surge in Hollywood, with both earning their first-ever Oscar nominations. Byrne is up for Actress in a Leading Role (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), while Elordi is nominated for Actor in a Supporting Role (Frankenstein). They are joined by a third Australian contender, Nick Cave, who scored a nomination for Best Original Song (Train Dreams).
Rounding out the Aussie talent, costume and production designer Fiona Crombie has also been recognised with a nomination for Production Design for her work on Hamnet.
