Tonight on The Voice on Seven and 7plus, an electrifying showdown saw two phenomenal artists claim their place in the Grand Final.
Cassie Henderson from Team Melanie C and Bella Parnell from Team Richard became the first two singers who will go head-to-head for The Voice 2025 crown. The other two will be revealed next Sunday.
Tonight, superstar coach Ronan Keating also took to the stage for a special performance of his debut solo single When You Say Nothing At All.
Melanie C hailed Cassie as a “superstar” following her stunning performance of Lorde’s Green Light, saying:
“You always deliver. You’ve never let me down. And I’ve just loved watching you grow and really own who you are as an artist.”
Cassie became Melanie’s pick for the Grand Final, while Euan Hart bowed out after a spirited performance of Eric Carmen’s Hungry Eyes.
Bella’s breathtaking rendition of Adele’s Skyfall secured her a Grand Final spot as Richard said: “That song is such an Adele song until now, because you made that song into something that sounds like you wrote it. You absolutely accomplished everything I wanted from that performance.”
Melanie C called Bella’s journey “one of the most incredible” on the show, noting that she had never performed in front of an audience before her The Voice audition, while Kate Miller-Heidke added:
“I’m in awe.”
Departing artist from Team Richard, Joseph Vuicakau, closed his The Voice journey with a powerful take on George Michael’s Freedom ’90.
