Whether you’ve roasted your own or picked one up from the shops, Colin’s chicken and veggie pasties are a brilliant way to give those leftovers a second life. Tossed with a fragrant herb and vegetable stuffing, then wrapped in golden, flaky puff pastry, these pasties are even better than the original meal.

ADAM – GOOD FRIDAY APPEAL HOUSE
We share many amazing homes on Better Homes and Gardens…but what could be more amazing than a home that is changing kids’ lives? Each year, tradies from across Victoria come together to volunteer their time and skills to the Good Friday Appeal, building a new home from the ground up – and all without charging a cent. The finished home is auctioned off, with the money raised going towards the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. This year’s house is a two-storey home with five bedrooms, three bathrooms and loads of street appeal. Adam’s here to check it out and to meet some of the tradie volunteers.
CHARLIE – BLOOMING BLOOMERS
A clothesline is a backyard essential, but practical doesn’t have to mean plain. Charlie’s showing you how to transform this everyday feature into a garden highlight by planting a beautiful flower bed beneath it, and he’s sharing his top plant picks for this area, too. Not only will it soften the space and add a burst of colour, but the fragrant blooms and lush foliage will leave your freshly dried washing smelling as lovely.
GRAHAM – GROWING GRASS TREES
With their dramatic flower spikes and striking, grass-like foliage, grass trees are among Australia’s most iconic native plants. They’ve flourished across the country’s diverse landscapes for thousands of years — but bringing that same success into a suburban backyard can be a challenge. Graham’s sharing a clever — and surprisingly unusual — trick to take the guesswork out of growing grass trees at home, making it easier than ever to help these spectacular natives thrive.

MELISSA – TRENDS WITH INDOOR GARDENING
One of the biggest trends in indoor gardening is propagating and displaying house plants in nothing but water…and it’s taking over windowsills everywhere. This method of propagating isn’t only simple, it’s addictive. And the finished result looks great, too. Best of all, there’s no need to worry about “watering” these plants – so it’s the perfect low-maintenance way to turn your home into a lush, green, oasis…no gardening skills required.
