Better Homes and Gardens on Channel 7 S32E2 – storyline for this week’s episode of Better Homes and Gardens on Channel 7.

DR HARRY – KING OF THE RANGES – WEEK TWO
Last week, Dr Harry got stuck into the action at Australia’s biggest stockman’s challenge and this week, he’s back to find out the winner. From the horse shoeing competition to the bareback competition for junior riders, there are so many events here that celebrate the unique relationship between horse and rider. But who will be crowned the KING of the Ranges and take home the ultimate prize?
JOHANNA – WAGGLE & FORAGE
Johanna’s meeting a couple who made the ultimate tree change – or is that bee change? – and created a whole new business in the process. Ally and Jo quit their corporate jobs in Melbourne to move to idyllic Woodend, in the Macedon Ranges. After seeing the impact their beehive had on their new veggie garden, they opened their own bee supply store. It’s called Waggle and Forage and it’s built around the premise that bees play a vital role in the health of the environment. And because of the spread of varroa mite, they’re currently under threat. Johanna is Better Homes and Gardens’ resident bee-fanatic and she’s catching up with Jo and Ally to find out why bees have got them buzzing.
COLIN – CRISPY CHICKEN PANCAKE
Nothing tastes quite as good as food from our childhood and this week, Colin’s sharing one of his favourite food memories. As a boy back in Ireland, Colin loved crispy chicken pancakes that he’d heat up straight from the freezer. Today, he’s making the dish from scratch using chicken legs, wrap bread and homemade stock, and it tastes even better than the original. With tarragon, parmesan cheese, cream and lemon zest, this dish is packed full of flavour and it’s perfect for both lunch and dinner.
CHARLIE – LET’S GET SHADY
If you’ve got a shady corner in your garden – perhaps under the canopy of a large tree – chances are, you don’t know what to do with it. This week, Charlie’s fixing just such a problem spot. He’s adding a gorgeous tree bench plus lots of shade-loving plants to turn a shady corner into the perfect space to relax in. And the look is easy to recreate at your place, too.
ADAM – STUCK/DROPPED/DETACHED DOORS – IT’S TIME FOR A FIX
No matter how big or small your home is, chances are it’s chock full of one thing: doors. And there’s a whole host of problems that can plague them. From stuck doors to detached doors, faulty hinges and more, this week Adam’s showing you how to fix them. And once he’s done, it’ll be an open and shut case.
GRAHAM – THE DISTILLERY BOTANICA GARDEN
Graham’s visited some stunning and unique gardens in his time…but a gin garden is a real first! He’s at Distillery Botanica, on New South Wales’s Central Coast, where the owners don’t only distil gin, they’ve created an absolute gem of a garden. Jam-packed full of fragrant herbs and flowers, including many you can pick to create your own bespoke drink, visiting this garden is a one-of-a-kind experience and Graham’s taking us along for the ride.

MELISSA – DOWNSIZING BALCONY GARDENS
When you trade your suburban block for an apartment right in the heart of a big city, you have to give up your garden…right? Horticultural therapist and nurse, Steven Wells, doesn’t think so. After 19 years living in the suburbs, he downsized to a small apartment in Melbourne’s CBD, with an even tinier balcony. Most people would give up on growing a garden altogether, but not Steven! He’s turned his balcony and flat into a green oasis which is absolutely brimming with plants. Melissa’s stopping by to find out how he did it.
JULIET – MIRROR, MIRROR IN THE HALL
Mirror, mirror in the hall, do I have food in my teeth before I head out the door? This week, Juliet’s got a project that’ll help fix that problem. She’s turning a plain old mirror into a statement piece for your hallway, with hidden storage built in. Perfect for housing your sunglasses and keys, this piece is made with off-the-shelf materials and guaranteed to impress your guests.
