Terrifier 3 trailer – Umbrella Entertainment announced today it will release the highly anticipated Terrifier 3 in cinemas across Australia on October 10.
Following his unexpected breakout hit in 2022, when viral horror sensation Terrifier 2 grossed $10 million at the US box office, writer-director and VFX master Damien Leone will deliver a bigger, bloodier and even better addition to his beloved Terrifier franchise.
Terrifier 2 was labelled the “sickest film of all time,” with fainting and vomiting reported in cinemas. Now horror legacy icon Art the Clown is back and more depraved than ever. The official Terrifier 3 trailer, launched today, gives fans a taste of his latest gory adventures as he returns on Christmas Eve for his bloodiest reign ever.
SYNOPSIS: Art the Clown unleashes a night of bloody chaos as the unsuspecting residents of Miles County peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.
Terrifier 3 was named by USA Today as one of the Top 10 most anticipated Horror films of 2024. It will have its World Premiere as the Fantastic Fest Opening Night Film at Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Texas on September 19. Umbrella Entertainment is also collaborating with Australia’s premier genre festival, Monster Fest, to give fans an opportunity to be among the first in the world to see the film, with details to be announced in the very near future.
Terrifier 3 will have a 2000-screen theatrical release in the US on October 11, with Umbrella Entertainment bringing the film wide to Australian audiences first on October 10.
David Howard Thornton reprises his terrifying role as Art The Clown, along with returning cast members Lauren LaVera, Samantha Scaffidi, Elliot Fullam and AEW superstar Chris Jericho. Daniel Roebuck is set to debut as Santa Claus, with appearances from make-up effects legend Tom Savini, Jason Patric, Antonella Rose, Krsy Fox, Clint Howard and Jon Abrahams.
