Taron Egerton, James Cameron and Danny Philippou round out Tropfest jury –Tropfest today announced the final addition to its 2026 judging panel, with Taron Egerton, James Cameron and Danny Philippou completing the Tropfest jury.
They join Jury President Margot Robbie alongside Sarah Snook, Bruna Papandrea and Dylan River, forming a panel that spans global blockbuster filmmaking, acclaimed performance, producing excellence and exciting new storytelling.
Taron Egerton brings the perspective of a modern screen performer who has successfully moved between franchise filmmaking and intimate character work, with standout performances in the Kingsman films, Rocketman and Black Bird. James Cameron — participating virtually — offers unparalleled expertise in cinematic storytelling and technical innovation.
Danny Philippou, one half of the filmmaking duo RackaRacka and director of breakout horror feature Talk to Me, represents a new generation of filmmakers who are re-writing the rules.
