Fresh off the record-breaking success of Longlegs and the visceral thrills of The Monkey, visionary horror maestro Osgood Perkins delivers his most intimate nightmare yet with Keeper, releasing in Australian cinemas November 13.
Evolving his signature brand of atmospheric terror with a “relationship horror” twist, the new trailer reveals more haunting visuals from the cabin-in-the-woods nightmare, hinting at an unspeakable evil lurking within.
Osgood Perkins continues to redefine contemporary horror with his atmospheric slow-burn style across The Blackcoat’s Daughter, Gretel & Hansel, and 2024’s breakout Longlegs.
With horror in his blood (his father was Psycho star Anthony Perkins), he continues to carve his own path with psychological depth – and Keeper continues his reign as one of horror’s most in-demand filmmakers.
Written by Nick Lepard and directed by Perkins, Keeper marks the acclaimed filmmaker’s third NEON collaboration and stars Emmy Award-winner Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) and Rossif Sutherland (Possessor, Orphan: First Kill) in a haunting exploration of love, isolation, and the darkness dwelling within both haunted places and fractured relationships.
NEON will release Keeper in the US on November 14, while the Australian release will be handled by Rialto Distribution.
