Focus on Ability Short Film Festival Sydney details – Focus On Ability Short Film Festival will host its annual awards ceremony this Sunday 29 September at The Concourse Chatswood.
The free event promises a day of inspiring stories, cultural exchange and community celebration showcasing films that highlight the diverse experiences and achievements of people with disabilities.
The Sydney gala screening will include an all-star judging panel such as Paula Duncan (Cop Shop, The Young Doctors), Lynne McGranger (Home and Away), Tina Bursill (Doctor Doctor), Craig Bennett (The Don Lane Show), Amanda Muggleton (Prisoner) and Tony Bonner (Cop Shop, Skippy the Bush Kangaroo), who will walk the red carpet with nominees from across the world, to celebrate the storytelling talents of individuals with a disability.
The festival will feature a curated selection of films from around the globe. Attendees can expect a moving collection of stories that challenge perceptions and celebrate human resilience and creativity.
