This episode tells the stories of two shocking revenge attacks in WWII. In 1944, in retaliation for Pearl Harbor, the Americans launched a massive aerial bombardment of the Japanese fleet in the Pacific – and in the Baltic, the most shocking attack in Maritime history. The German liner Wilhelm Gustloff was torpedoed by a Russian submarine, with the loss of some 10,000 people.
