RPA on Channel 9 – We are reunited with Joelene who has recently undergone marathon surgery to remove her recurring rare type of cancer.
Initially the surgery is thought to be a success, but her worst nightmare comes true as she suffers a mystery bleed and is rushed back to theatre.
We also meet Theo, recovering from Covid he needed a chest x-ray that shockingly reveals a fist sized mass. He puts all his confidence in leading Cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Chris Cao who proposes a new revolutionary robotic approach.
In the Emergency Department, we follow the stories of John, who is bitten by a Funnel Web spider while gardening and Ofa, who had a terrifying four metre fall from work-place scaffolding and has injured his back.
