Alone Australia on SBS – The global smash hit series Alone has landed in Australia.
Alone Australia sees 10 brave survivalists, completely isolated from the world and each other, stripped of modern possessions, self-documenting their experience of sustaining themselves in the remote wilds of Western Tasmania/lutruwita – the last one standing winning $250 000.
Challenged by the merciless forces of nature, hunger, and perhaps the toughest challenge of all: loneliness, who will survive the longest?
Episode Three:
It’s the morning after their first night in the wilderness, and the participants are discovering just how tough a Tasmanian winter can be. Until now, the participants have been focussed on getting their camps established to protect against Tasmania’s unrelenting winter climate. But after days without food, hunger is becoming a driving force.
What can they catch or forage in the wilderness that will sustain them for the days and weeks ahead? Will the conditions prove too tough for some?
