The Dog House Australia on 10 – Dog walker Sam and his brother Jackson are very close and have been a great support to each other over the years, particularly during Sam’s battle with depression.
Sam finds that dogs lift his spirits, and he would like to adopt a dog of his own. Sam and Jackson are paired with adorable 8 month old kelpie, Lexi. However, Lexi finds the meeting overwhelming and pays little interest in the boys. Will Sam and Jackson be able to make a connection and walk off with the dog of their dreams?
Seventy three year old Johnno is hoping a dog will mend his broken heart. Having lost his beloved wife only four months ago, he arrives at AWL with the support of his devoted niece Jessica. He wants something small and fluffy, so the handlers take the chance on pairing him up with not one, but two dogs.
Will bonded pair Bobby and Milly mend Johnno’s broken heart? Dancers Ash and Mike are looking to add to their growing family of fur babies. With two rescue cats already at home, they now want a dog to join them at dance classes and be a part of their active lifestyle.
They are matched with one of the shelter’s favourite pooches, puppy Cookie, who is a bundle of energy. But as he runs rings around Ash and Mike in the meeting pen, will he be too hard to handle?
