Kars and Stars on SBS Viceland – From K.I.T.T. to the General Lee, each week Kars & Stars celebrates a famous car that has become a star in its own right.
The series features interviews with the designers who built these iconic cars, as well as a range of celebrities, writers, directors and producers who made these cars famous.
Celebrity appearances and interviews include Jay Leno, Lindsay Lohan, Seth Rogan, David Hasselhoff, Sarah Michelle Geller and Freddie Prinze Jr.
Series One, Episode One: Batmobiles
George Barris, creator and designer of the original and 1966 Batmobile, tells the story of how he built the famous car.
Guests include Jay Leno, Chip Foos, Beau Bachman and Bruce Meyer.
We also meet a fan who built his own Batmobile and we learn where you can get your own custom Batmobile made.
In the Ultimate showdown we see the 1966 Batmobile race the Batmobile from 1989 film.
