But it’s anything but party time for the men and women of Police Rescue. A crowd has surged past barricades towards the Harbour Bridge, and Police Rescue are called in to assist general duties police who’ve been overwhelmed.
In the Blue Mountains, a young hiker has suffered a serious knee injury. Police Rescue must stretcher her out on foot. But in pounding heat along a hazardous bush track, Police Rescue are going to need all the manpower they can muster.
And in Sydney, Tom the Staffy has become stuck in a gate. Can Police Rescue get him out safely, or has this dog bitten off more than he can chew?
