Despite a very chaotic wedding reception, latecomers Beth and Teejay are waking up very much still in their newlywed bubble!
It’s cuddles galore for the pair, who are excited to learn they’re off to Tropical North Queensland for their honeymoon.
But as Beth frantically fake tans, the rest of this year’s participants are all focused on one thing: what the hell went down with Jacqui and Ryan last night.

Rhi says she is very much “done” with the pair’s up-and-down relationship, but to be fair, she doesn’t get to sit on the Commitment Ceremony couch and write ‘leave’ on behalf of another match. So… how are the couple of the hour going?
They spent the night in separate apartments but Ryan wants to speak to Jacqui, get the truth and an apology.
Good luck?
Jacqui explains she reached out to Jeff out of desperation and thinks Ryan telling her not to is crossing a line. She’s not going to apologise.
“I’m going to be leaving this experiment today,” she tells him. “Unless you come up with any practical solutions on how you’re gonna improve your behaviour going forward.”
Yeah, you can guess how Ryan feels about that.
EXCLUSIVE: Jeff reveals the truth behind the unseen text from another bride before chaos unfolded
Anyway, we’ve got two more weddings to attend and this time, they will not be guests. It’s probably for the best.
But that’s not even the biggest surprise today. Don’t you think that bride and groom look a little familiar???
Lauren and Clint’s wedding
Lauren is back!
After the absolute disaster that was her two-day marriage to Eliot, the gift business CEO is back for another go.
She’s nervous about more possible disappointment but hopes it is second time’s a charm.
Her second husband is Clint, a 43-year-old golf pro from Tassie who would describe himself as “humbly wealthy”. He’s at a crossroads in life and looking for someone to share his very, very nice house with.
EXCLUSIVE: Lauren takes a savage swipe at Eliot as they reflect on re-entering the experiment
Clint wants to protect and provide, which we know is very much up Lauren’s alley, and most importantly, he does not run his hands through his hair once throughout his entire intro.
On the morning of the big day, Clint’s is bubbling with optimism while Lauren cannot remember what optimism actually is.
Lauren’s friends arrive and greet Clint, but even they are apprehensive. On the bright side, it doesn’t look like her chaotic sister Tamara got the invite this time.
Finally, she arrives and while Clint gives her a big smile, Lauren’s clearly got her guard way up.
Clint’s vows are long. Like, really long.
“There’s something you should know. I have two kids,” he says.
“What kind of breed are they?” Lauren deadpans.
BRUTAL.
But also, fair. This is the stalest gag in the MAFS playbook (oh, and they’re Samoyeds).
Lauren explains her previous experience with Eliot and thankfully, Clint is very receptive and promises he has her back.

Lauren’s defrosting continues into their reception, as the more she learns about Clint the more she likes.
Not only has he had a very long term relationship before, but he’s been in therapy AND is willing to buy her flowers every week.
Conversation soon turns to their families.
“Are you close with your sister?” Clint asks.
“She’s controversial,” Lauren replies.
They privately debrief properly about Lauren’s past experience, and Clint is absolutely shook by Eliot’s audacity.
”I’m glad that he packed his bags and took off because he doesn’t deserve Lauren at all,” he says.

“Vows don’t mean anything to me anymore.”
With the wedding done, they head off on their honeymoon where Lauren’s positivity continues to grow.
Unlike her last conversation about having kids, which resulted in Eliot dreaming of a 25-year-old wife instead, Lauren finds herself and Clint being completely aligned.
”We have actual conversations, we both want to be here…” she says. The bar really is on the floor, but we’re happy for her!
Veronica and Eliot’s wedding
Welcoming Eliot back into the experiment was not a decision the experts took lightly… or are even fully on board with now.
”To be honest, I’m still on the fence,” Alessandra confesses, questioning if Eliot is ready to look past his absurdly long lost of non-negotiables.

But Eliot thinks he is – and what John told him during their unprecedented one-on-one chat a few weeks ago seems to have really sunken in.
”I’m too specific and too argumentative and too difficult,” he says. We know, man!
This time he’s ready to actually, uh, try, which we hope bodes well for his new match, Veronica.
She’s a 32-year-old personal trainer and actress who has “zero bulls–t tolerance”.
She often feels like dates find her “too much” but really wants to find her person and have kids in the future with someone who is a handsome and honest gym buff.
If she’d simply added “with nice hair that he runs his hands through very often”, she’d have perfectly described Eliot.

Veronica’s friends arrive at her wedding to find absolutely nobody else there besides the celebrant. It seems Eliot’s friends and family found it hard to justify another day of annual leave for his second TV wedding within a month.
After an awkward silence between the groom and quite literally the only two guests who bothered to turn up, Veronica arrives.
And you would not believe it, but Eliot is BEAMING.
Wait a minute.
He asks “do you recognise me?” and NO ELIOT YOUR FIRST DISASTER WEDDING HAD NOT AIRED AT THIS POINT.
WHY WOULD SHE RECOGNISE YOU?
He warns that his vows will be a little confusing, which is actually an understatement.
Rather than just straight up say ‘oh yeah I was married before but I ran away from the honeymoon after two days’, he says things like “there is a light at the end in the tunnel” and “it’s not everyday you get to marry a stranger, in fact for me, it’s more like every week”.
Veronica and her pals are completely lost but they cannot wait to hear the gossip.
“This isn’t my first wedding with MAFS,” he admits during their reception, which is really just a four-person lunch with large floral arrangements.
“How long did you give it with your first wife?” Veronica’s bestie Emma asks.
“I gave it like, three full days,” Eliot replies.
Soon, the ladies debrief. I can only presume Eliot’s gone to the bathroom because… well, he’s got no guests to mingle with, has he?
Anyway, Veronica says she has no reservations about progressing in the experiment him despite his penchant for quick getaways.
Their honeymoon is to Mudgee, where they enjoy a romantic winery date.
No seriously, Eliot looks to be enjoying himself!
When the topic turns to kids, Veronica opens up about having endometriosis and how that might impact her in the future – but she’s determined to try every avenue when the time comes.
Thankfully, Eliot reacts with empathy and really appreciates her openness.
Oh the relief.
He says that’s “not exactly my perfect future” but it is is less about having a certain number of children and more about finding a partner who is “open and excited and enthusiastic to have a family”.
Fine, I’ll just say it.
WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT YOU DONE WITH THE OLD ELIOT AND HIS 28674-PAGE LIST OF NON-NEGOTIABLES?
Exclusive: MAFS’ Ryan on being ‘totally blindsided’ as co-star reveals bombshell information about his wife
It’s nice to see some fresh romance blooming because as we return to Sydney to see our OGs… it’s mayhem.
The couples have been out at a publicity shoot all day, but Adrian stormed out after being left out of a promo.
Awhina’s returned to their apartment to find he’s packed his bags and left.
He’s left his wedding ring on the counter and his draws half-open, and I’d also put good money on him not emptying the bin before he left either.
Awhina calls him and he says he’s not coming back.
“I’m pissed off that I’m not in the promo. It’s disrespectful and I’m not going to be treated like that,” he explains.
Awhina’s like…. ummmmm???? What about me????
“The fact that you’re pushing me to come back, it’s sort of showing colours,” he continues.
He’s given an ultimatum; he won’t come back until he’s in the promo. Being left out is “the lowest of lows, of lows, of lows” he claims, and then he hangs up.
It’s rather… dramatic.
Awhina cannot believe he’s left over something so unreasonable and feels sick that she’s been such an afterthought for him.
Tomorrow on Promo At First Sight… I kid, I kid, it’s Dinner Party number three, baby!
This time, there will be three new couples at the table, including exes Lauren and Eliot. What ever could go wrong?! Tune in to find out.
