NRL on Nine round 9 fixture – The red-hot Rabbitohs meet the high-flying Brisbane Broncos in a blockbuster edition of Friday Night Footy this week, available to stream for free on 9Now and watch on Channel 9HD.
After knocking off the Panthers, the Bunnies have found their groove in 2023 and must now contend with the familiar face of Adam Reynolds, who is out to ruin their run with his table-topping Broncos teammates Reece Walsh and Pat Carrigan.
But first up in NRL on Nine it’s Thursday Night Footy, where star halfback Nicho Hynes will continue his surge for a New South Wales Origin jersey when his Sharks host the Cowboys.
The man of the match tonight will be awarded the inaugural Paul Green Medal. Johnathan Thurston, who was a close friend and premiership winner under Green at the Cowboys, will be on ground live for Wide World of Sports.
After fighting hard but falling one-point short on ANZAC Day, the Dragons will take on the Bulldogs at WIN Stadium in Wollongong in Sunday Arvo Footy.
The Dragons’ shining lights Ben Hunt and fullback Tyrell Sloan need to fire up the Red V or risk their season falling away, under relentless aerial attack from the “Burton bomb” from Bulldogs playmaker Matt Burton. The Dogs have found their bark with solid performances so far this season, which will make this an evenly fought contest.
Wide World of Sports has exclusive access to all three venues across the weekend.
