Expats on Prime Video – Academy Award and Emmy-winning actor Nicole Kidman returned to Australia for a special advance screening of her upcoming Prime Video series Expats tonight at Palace Verona in Sydney.
The screening marked a return to the venue for Nicole, who attended the opening of the cinema 27 years ago, with Expats one of the final events at the theatre on Oxford Street, before it relocates in early 2024.
A six-part limited series directed by Lulu Wang and co-executive produced by Nicole, Expats is based on the internationally best-selling novel The Expatriates by Janice Y. K. Lee. Expats launchesglobally on Prime Video January 26, 2024.
Nicole Kidman, along with Alice Bell, writer and executive producer, and actorBlessing Mokgohloa, from Expats were in attendance to celebrate the series, which releases globally on Prime Video on January 26, 2024. Nicole was joined on the red carpet by husband Keith Urban. Guests also included Nina Oyama, James Tobin, Emma Horn, Danijela Dacic, Lucia Field, Olivia Frazer, Justin Hill, and Angela Bishop, who hosted the event.
