Ted on Binge – This summer, BINGE has teamed up with iconic Aussie swimwear brand Budgy Smuggler to create this season’s must-have beachwear: the limited-edition TED Smugglers.
A mix of cheeky and cute, the swimwear will make a serious statement at the beach this summer. Front and centre, the men’s Smuggler features an image of TED to show off your love for the iconic teddy bear.
Today (25 January), NRL superstar James ‘Teddy’ Tedesco gave away the limited-edition TED Smugglers for free at the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club. Fans had the chance to win a pair of the cheeky cozzies by trying their luck at the TED dunk tank.
This week, BINGE is also taking over the Bondi and Manly Budgy Smuggler stores where the bespoke Budgy Smuggler will be available, and all fans have to do is prove that they are a BINGE customer to receive it.
There will be a limited edition run of the TED Men’s Smugglers until stock runs out… so run, don’t walk! The swimwear is here for a good time, not a long time.
On Monday (29 January), be sure to check out our social giveaway for a chance to win the ultimate TED prize pack.
In this comedic prequel event series to the Ted films, it’s 1993, and Ted the bear’s (Seth MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.
After the successful launch, fans of the franchise can stream every episode of Ted Season 1 plus the original film Ted and the sequel Ted 2 available now on BINGE.

About BUDGY SMUGGLER
Budgy Smuggler started as a bit of a laugh in a backyard in Australia when some mates decided to write ‘Budgy Smuggler’ on the back of a speedo-style swimwear. Why it has been successful, we have no idea. A lot of people ask us why we are “budgy smuggler”, not “budgie smuggler”?
We really wish we had a good answer. Two of our favourite explanations are the impressive sounding, “it has to do with trademark law, you wouldn’t understand it”, and the mysterious sounding “we’re not detail people, we are concept people”. The sad fact is, we only realised the incorrect spelling after it was too late to change back again. So budgy smuggler should have been budgie smuggler.
