Based on a True Story on Binge – The first look trailer and key art for the new dark comedic thriller Based on a True Story, starring Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina,have been released ahead of its 8 June premiere on BINGE, with all episodes releasing at once.
The eight-episode seriesis about a realtor, a former tennis star and a plumber who seize a unique opportunity to capitalise on America’s obsession with true crime.
In addition to Cuoco and Messina, the series also stars Tom Bateman, Priscilla Quintana, Liana Liberato, Natalia Dyer, Alex Alomar Akpobome, Aisha Alfa, Annabelle Dexter-Jones and Li Jun Li.
Craig Rosenberg (The Boys, Gen V) serves as creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer of the series. Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan are executive producers for Aggregate Films alongside Kaley Cuoco and Alex Buono, who directs episodes one and eight. Roxie Rodriguez (Aggregate Films) and Melissa Blake co-executive produce. The series is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group.
BASED ON A TRUE STORY premieres on Thursday 8 June on BINGE and on FOX ONE at 830pm and is available On Demand.
