Beat the Monday blues with SBS’s new line-up of entertainment and comedy – Get ready to laugh-out-loud with SBS’s new jam-packed entertainment line-up every Monday from 16 September on SBS and SBS On Demand.
From 8.25pm, Jimmy Carr hosts a brand-new season of the SBS favourite 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown; a British comedy game show where a barrage of comedians take on numbers and letters with hilarious results.
Then from 9.20pm join host Greg Davies (Taskmaster, Man Down) with team captains Noel Fielding (The Mighty Boosh, The Great British Bake Off) and Daisy May Cooper (This Country) and regular guest Jamali Maddix (Hate Thy Neighbour) for the reinvented iconic British show Never Mind the Buzzcocks. Renowned for its dry, sarcastic humour, the famous pop culture panel show sees music and comedy stars compete against each other in a series of rounds that tests their music knowledge.
After that, stick around for the much-anticipated American version of the long-running BBC comedy series Have I Got News for You U.S. airing weekly at 10.05pm, fast-tracked from the US.
This comedy panel series delivers comic observations, from the satirical to the surreal, through the lens of a news quiz show. Always relevant and topical, Have I Got News for You U.S. serves up a smart and edgy take on the news of the week from host Roy Wood Jr. along with two illustrious team captains, Amber Ruffin and Michael Ian Black.
Together, they guide a rotating collection of guests including notable entertainers, political figures and comedians through an array of comic games and quick-witted panel conversations that test their knowledge of current events. Timed around the lead up and aftermath of the US election, they will certainly have plenty of material to work with!
