Evidence appears to mount against the two men accused of creating and fraudulently bringing to market a series of fake Whiteley paintings. Damning photographic evidence seems to show the contested artworks being painted years after Brett Whiteley died, and a leading Whiteley expert casts doubt on the paintings’ authenticity.
But a sensational piece of evidence undermines the case against these two men.
