Keep the kids entertained on a long car trip
• Sing Along, ABC Kids listen app or digital radio, from 11 December. Join some of your favourite Aussie kids artists including Zindzi & the Zillionares, Tip Toe Giants and more as they bring you the best summer songs to sing along to.
• Road Trip, ABC Kids listen, from 22 December. Join Bri and Matt from Story Salad for new episodes every Friday to help your family have fun or relax in the car.
• Imagine This, ABC Kids listen, from 13 December. Dr Nij is back and he’ll be tacking big questions like why do we need to brush our teeth, how do snails get their shells and heaps more. Perfect for quizzes in the car and junior scientists.
• Kangaroo Beach Party, ABC Kids listen, from 16 December. Your favourite cadets are back! Neville and Gemma are broadcasting from the Club House every Saturday and Sunday with all the best beach vibes.

Stay cool on a hot day
• Play School: Down at the Beach, ABC Kids & ABC iview, 26 December. Special guests include lifesavers Chelsea and Courtney (with helpful Nipper Big Ted) and wildlife scientist Dr Vanessa Pirotta. Don’t forget to slip slop slap!
• Reef School series two, ABC Kids & ABC iview, 5 February 2024. We’re making every day an underwater adventure! Narrated by Emma Watkins and starring Tony Armstrong, Shane Jenek (Courtney Act), Chloé Hayden, Gemma Driscoll and Costa Georgiadis, the new series also introduces TikTok’s Mr Luke and Christie Whelan Browne as new Reefies. The perfect way to cool down in the heat of summer.
What to watch on New Years Eve
• NYE double feature, ABC ME, 8pm on 31 December. Catch The Midnight Gang and Zombie Town back-to-back!
• Tabby McTat, ABC Kids & ABC iview, 31 December, 5.05pm. A brand new special from author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler, Tabby McTat is a purr-fectly rollicking adventure to keep the little ones entertained while you’re getting ready for New Years.
Kick off the New Year with a show for the whole family!
• Planet Lulin, ABC ME & ABC iview, 1 January 2024. Lisa McCune (Blue Heelers) and Zachary Ruane (Aunty Donna) join a stellar cast of young Australian talent (Nina Gallas, Uma Dumais, Max Turner) for the world premiere of Planet Lulin! Twelve-year-old Lulin is extra, extra special – she’s just learnt how to blast energy waves out of her fingers! Shame her new astrawaves have been tracked by intergalactic invaders. All she wants to do is win SCI-BOG (the school science comp) with her pals, but grade six is full of surprises when you’re growing up extraterrestrial!

Ease into bedtime
• Ninganah Lullaby, ABC Kids & ABC iview, from 15 January 2024, 7.25pm. Created on the lands of the Bundjalung and Gadigal people, Troy Casser-Daley sings about camping as a kid with his cousins and being asked to settle down to go to sleep. Troy’s original song plays over soothing animation by Studio Gilay.
• Play School: Story Time, ABC Kids & ABC iview, from 22 January 2024. Featuring special guests like Matty J, Amanda Keller, Felix Riebl, Mark Coles Smith and many more for five new episodes that are the perfect bedtime story!
