WBBL Cricket on Seven – A massive week of women’s sport WBBL Finals and AFLW Grand Final live and free on Seven
The Seven Network is locked and loaded to deliver an epic week of women’s sport, headlined by Saturday’s Women’s Big Bash League Final and Sunday’s 2023 AFLW Grand Final, live and free on Channel 7, 7mate and 7plus*.
After a thrilling 2023 season, it all comes down to this week when the WBBL Finals continue tonight on Seven, Your Home of Cricket.
Seven has cricket fans covered across all three remaining WBBL Finals matches, including the all-important WBBL Final, hosted by the Adelaide Strikers, this Saturday at 7.00pm AEDT on Channel 7 and 7mate.
As the Strikers learn who they will face in the final, fans can tune in to tonight’s The Eliminator between Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder, before tomorrow night’s The Challenger between Perth Scorchers and the winner of tonight’s clash, both at 7.30pm AEDT on 7mate.
Then, on Thursday night the cricket fun continues with The Front Bar: Cricket Edition, where Mick, Sam and Andy will be joined by one of the greatest left-arm fast bowlers of all time, Wasim Akram.
Seven’s coverage of Saturday’s the WBBL Final will feature Lisa Sthalekar, Kirby Short, Emma Freedman and Andy Maher, live from Adelaide Oval.
Following an action-packed Finals Series, Seven is set to broadcast the jewel in the crown of the AFL Women’s competition, the 2023 AFLW Grand Final, this Sunday at 1.00pm AEDT on Channel 7 and 7plus.
For the fifth time since the competition’s inception in 2017, the Brisbane Lions will line up on AFLW Grand Final day, this time meeting Emma Kearney’s North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos at Ikon Park in Melbourne.
On Grand Final Day, footy fans will be treated to expert insight and analysis from Seven’s esteemed group of AFLW callers and hosts, including 2017 AFLW Premiership player Abbey Holmes, former Geelong Cats captain Melissa Hickey, Kate McCarthy, Jason Bennett, Jo Wotton, and Nat Edwards.
In a coup for fans, two-time ARIA Award winning artist and 2023 AFLW Premiership Cup Ambassador, G Flip, will perform in the Telstra Pre-Game Entertainment at Ikon Park on AFLW Grand Final Day, with the performance to be broadcast live in Seven’s coverage.
