JOHANNA – AMAZING HOME: THE IMPOSSIBLE HOUSE
Have you ever considered living off grid? It’s only for people living in remote areas, with no easy connection to power, water and waste services…right? This week, Johanna’s meeting an inner-city dweller turning the whole idea of ‘off-grid’ on its head. Dr Laura Ryan lives in a small Sydney terrace which she’s managed to make almost entirely self-sufficient. There are solar panels, five large water tanks under the rear extension and even an incinerating toilet! Laura’s home is beautiful, too; she’s used second-hand and sustainable materials to create a space that’s full of colour and personality. But the journey to self-sufficiency hasn’t been an easy one and Johanna’s meeting up with Laura to find out more.
ADAM + JULIET – LAUNDRY LOGIC FOR ALL
With three girls and two dogs to contend with, parents Dan and Tess seem to always have a load of laundry on. Many of us can relate and, while Adam and Juliet can’t make the laundry magically disappear, they can make doing it a little more enjoyable. They’re transforming Dan and Tess’s outdated laundry into a stylish and functional room with loads of space-saving ideas built in. Not only does the finished result look amazing, it’s got loads of ideas you can incorporate in your laundry, too.

COLIN – LAMB SHANKS & BEETROOT
Beetroot and lamb work perfectly together and Colin’s dishing up a winter classic which makes them shine. He’s cooking lamb shanks with roasted beetroot, served with loads of herbs, feta and horseradish cream. It’s the perfect dish to put a smile on your face this chilly season.

CLARISSA – SZECHUAN SALT & PEPPER SQUID
Clarissa’s putting her spin on a Chinese classic. Made with Szechuan peppercorns to add a distinctive, numbing flavour, her crispy salt and pepper squid is served with garlic, onion, chilli and lime, so it packs a punch! You’ve got to give it a try.
CHARLIE – SINKING PAVERS: A PAVING PATCH-UP
Do you have a path or driveway with pavers that are sinking, rising or broken? It’s a common problem and it can be caused by any number of things – like poor drainage, poor prep, or even ants! Charlie’s showing you how to fix your sinking pavers and more importantly, how stop the problem happening again. And best of all, it’s an easy fix-up you can do on the weekend.

There’s so much inspiration to be found in the gardens of different cultures across the world. But if you don’t have the time or the budget for a world trip, why not visit this amazing garden just outside of Sydney instead? At Fagan Park in Galston, you’ll find 55 hectares of gardens, including 10 hectares devoted to different gardening styles across the globe. From China to Japan, Africa, England and many countries in between, there’s so much beauty to be found. Graham’s here to prove it really is a small world after all.
DR HARRY – SHORTCUT: TIPS FOR TROUBLESOME BRUSH TURKEYS
