JOHANNA + DR CHRIS – A VIEW OF SHELL COVE
When you’re looking for a new place to live, it’s always good to get a second opinion. So, this week, Johanna’s asked Dr Chris Brown to help her as she takes a look at Shell Cove, in the Shellharbour area of New South Wales. If you’re considering a sea change, you couldn’t ask for much more than this new suburb. It’s close to the beach, with a busy waterfront precinct full of hotels, restaurants, cafes and even a marina. Plus, there are parks, lagoons and more nearby. But just how much does it cost to live here? And who should consider it as a place to call home? Johanna and Dr Chris are finding out.
DR HARRY – KEVIN THE TROUBLESOME BURMESE
Living with your in-laws while house hunting is challenging enough…but throw some kids and pets into the mix and it can add a whole other layer of tension! That’s what happened when Lisa, Kane, their two kids and two Burmese cats, Kevin and Ruby, all moved in with Kane’s parent’s, Phil and Kim. Phil and Kim have a 12-year-old Burmese cat called Poppy and Kevin and Poppy just don’t get along. They keep fighting, hissing and growling at one another and the situation has gotten so bad, Poppy has become a bit of a recluse. Can Dr Harry restore peace in this once harmonious home?

GRAHAM – OAK HOUSE GARDEN WALKAROUND
In 2012, Sam Crawford and her family moved back home to Oak House in Clarkefield in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges. Sam grew up here, and the family’s history here goes back generations. The farmhouse is one of multiple properties on a 2000-hectare working farm, once owned by Sam’s great-great grandfather. Sam is a horticultural agronomist-turned-landscape designer, and over the past 13 years she’s transformed the 2.5-hectare garden into a plant lover’s paradise. Sam plays with plant palettes a bit like an artist, helping her to curate harmonious and balanced gardens that are full of inspiration. Graham’s finding out how she does it.
