The Adelaide-based Italian mother and son are loud, passionate and sure to entertain in and out of the kitchen.
Sonia often gets outraged by the tornado Marcus leaves behind. Marcus, frustrated with his mother’s perfectionism, doesn’t listen to her… Often leading to disaster in kitchen.
“If they [the judges and the guest teams] could see what was going on, they would think they were at the circus,” Sonia says while cooking in their instant restaurant.
MKR features co-hosts and judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge travelling across the country to meet Australia’s most passionate home cooks – real people, cooking real food, in their own homes – before international superstar Nigella Lawson joins them as judge in Kitchen HQ.
