FIFA Women’s World Cup on Channel 7 – Seven announces Round of 16 schedule The Matildas to take centre stage on Monday night.
After a thrilling group stage, which saw the Matildas soar to the top of Group B, the Seven Network’s broadcast schedule for the highly anticipated FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ Round of 16 has been confirmed.
In prime time on Monday night, Australia’s national team will face Denmark in a do-or-die clash at Stadium Australia, from 8.00pm AEST live and free and in HD* on Channel 7 and 7plus, with pre-game coverage on 7mate and 7plus from 7.30pm AEST.
7SPORT anchor Mel McLaughlin and broadcasting icon Bruce McAvaney will once again lead Seven’s coverage direct from Stadium Australia, as the Matildas look to make history and progress through to the all-important Quarter-Finals.
Joining them will be Seven’s expert pundits Elise Kellond-Knight, Heather Garriock and Izzy Christiansen, host and commentator Adam Peacock, and resident football callers Grace Gill and David Basheer.
As Matildas fans flood into Stadium Australia, 7SPORT presenter Emma Freedman will be on hand to deliver all the colour and excitement, live from Sydney.
