This Summer, Paramount+ are turning Australia into football heads, with a mountain of international and local football on offer.
Australia’s fastest growing streaming service, Paramount+ is kick starting 2024 with a football feast and bringing subscribers over 140 live matches in January.
The prestigious Emirates FA Cup third round gets underway exclusive to Paramount+, including some epic match ups as Premier League powerhouses Arsenal and Liverpool face off, Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur take on Burnley, and is an upset on the cards when Manchester United tackle Wigan Athletic?
Who will progress to the fourth round in late January?
The AFC Asian Cup begins with every match of the tournament available exclusively on Paramount+. The Subway Socceroos commence their AFC Asian Cup campaign on Saturday 13 January live from 10.00pm AEDT as they take on India in their opening group match. Before then, the Socceroos will have a final hit out against Bahrain on Sunday, 7 January live from 12.30am AEDT exclusive to Paramount+.
Plus, all Subway Socceroos AFC Asian Cup matches will be available live and free on Network 10, as 2015 Asian Cup winner and former Socceroos star Alex Wilkinson joins our team of football experts as a special guest, plus commentators Andy Harper and Simon Hill are on ground in Qatar.
Locally, the Isuzu UTE A-League Men and Liberty A-League Women are in action all summer with all matches on Paramount+ – highlighted by Unite Round on Friday, 12 January – Sunday, 14 January as all teams play in Sydney.
Key A-Leagues fixtures will also be available on 10 Bold and 10 Play, including in the Isuzu UTE A-League with the ‘Original Rivalry” as Melbourne Victory host Adelaide United on Saturday, 30 December live from 7.00pm AEDT, an Australia Cup final rematch between Brisbane Roar and Sydney FC on Saturday, 6 January live from 7.00pm AEDT, and all Liberty A-League matches available live and free on 10 Play.
Unite Round weekend sees a double header of Isuzu UTE A-League matches on Saturday, 13 January on 10 Bold and 10 Play, with Central Coast Mariners taking on Melbourne Victory live from 4.30pm AEDT before Adelaide United play Sydney FC live from 7.30pm. On the Sunday, the Liberty A-League grand final rematch between Western United and Sydney FC live from 4.30pm AEDT on 10 Bold and 10 Play.
