Bryan Fuller is taking his extensive sci-fi/fantasy experience to Syfy.

The ‘Pushing Daisies’ creator/executive producer will co-write ‘The Lotus Caves’ for the US cable channel.

‘Lotus’, which is based on the John Christopher sci-fi novel and is set in the year 2068, centres on two boys living in a lunar colony who decide to venture outside their community’s confines to make some unexpected discoveries.

Fuller will co-write the pilot with fellow ‘Daisies’ scribe Jim Grey.

‘The Lotus Caves’ is also being adapted for the big screen by Walden Media and first time director Rpin Suwannath.
