TV Guide have revealed a list of some of America’s highest paid television actors and presenters.

Unsurprisingly, Oprah tops the list earning $315 million a year from her syndicated talk show.

‘Two and a Half Men’ star Charlie Sheen makes $1.25 million an episode, while his co-star Jon Cryer earns $US550,000 an episode.

Hugh Laurie (‘House’) and the four ladies of ‘Desperate Housewives’ are the next highest paid actors, each making $400,000 an episode, followed by ‘Law and Order: SVU’ stars Christopher Meloni & Mariska Hargitay who make $395,000 an episode.

Tina Fey (’30 Rock’) is one of the highest paid female comedy actors, earning $350,000 an episode — though presumable she should make even more due to other roles as writer and producer on the show.

Dan Castellaneta and Julie Kavner are the highest paid voice actors, each making $400,000 an episode for their work on the long-running animated comedy ‘The Simpsons’.

Australia’s Alex O’Loughlin makes TV Guide’s list, with $100,000 an episode for his role in the upcoming ‘Hawaii 5-O’ remake.

While not listed by TV Guide, there are some other high paid Aussies working in the States:

Simon Baker, who was at one point believed to making around $250,000 an episode for his role on ‘The Mentalist’.

Rachel Griffiths was earning over $150,000 an episode this past season on ‘Brothers and Sisters’.
