Zach Gilford

Zach Gilford is joining the cast of ABC’s mid-season medical drama ‘Off the Map’.

The former ‘Friday Night Lights’ star will play Tommy, a new physician at a medical clinic in South America.

The 28-year-old star joins the cast after the recent departure of Enrique Murciano, who was reportedly dropped from the cast due to creative reasons.

‘Off the Map’ stars New Zealander Martin Henderson, Jason George, Valerie Cruz, Caroline Dhavernas, Mamie Gummer and Rachelle Lefevre.

The seres was created by Jenna Bans and produced by Shonda Rhimes (‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Private Practice’.
