Jane Badler is set guest star on ABC’s ‘V’ when it returns for its second season in November.

Badler, who resides in Australia, will return to the States to appear as a new incarnation of her character Diana from the original 1983 series.

The new Diana will be introduced in the season premiere, during which we’ll learn that the show’s principal visitor Anna (Morena Baccarin), has been keeping her mother (Badler) prisoner onboard the mother ship.

Badler teased fans by suggesting some involvement with the show, while speaking at the “Sci Fi Remakes and Spinoffs” event at the ACMI’s in Melbourne a few weeks ago. While she couldn’t confirm her involvement at the time, she did reveal that she had sent an audition tape to the show’s producers in Los Angeles to prove that she still “had it”.

Badler is currently guest starring on the Network Ten’s soap ‘Neighbours’ under a 4-month contract.
