'The X Factor' to film at Fox Studios in Sydney.

Industry & Investment NSW have helped secure Seven’s relaunch of ‘The X Factor’ for New South Wales.

The high profile talent competition, which will premiere soon on Seven, will move into the former home of Network Ten’s ‘Australian Idol’ at Fox Studios in Sydney.

While auditions for Seven’s ‘X Factor’ are/were being held nationally, the substantial boot camp and studio components for the series will be filmed entirely on location in NSW and at Fox Studios.

The studios are also currently the home of Seven’s ‘Minute to Win It’ and the former home of ‘Popstars Live’.

Ten’s 2005 production of ‘The X Factor’ was based at Hisense Arena (formerly Vodafone Arena) in Melbourne.

Seven’s ‘X Factor’ will be hosted by Matthew Newton and will feature an impressive panel of judges/mentors including: Guy Sebastian, Ronan Keating, Natalie Imbrulia and Kyle Sandilands.
