ABC’s teen drama ‘Dance Academy’ is set to return for a second season.
The series, which concluded its first season yesterday on ABC1, has received partial funding from Victoria’s funding body, Film Victoria, where post-production on the series takes place.
The show’s principal investor is Screen Australia, who in association with Screen NSW, also provide production assistance for the Sydney-filmed series.
‘Dance Academy’ joins fellow ABC newcomers ‘My Place’ and ‘Prank Patrol’, which were both picked up for second seasons back in March and April.
‘Dance Academy’ is a Werner Film Productions and ABC TV production.
