Amy Madigan (‘Grey’s Anatomy’) is set to join the cast of FOX’s ‘Fringe’.
The 59-year old actress will appear in four episodes of the sci-fi drama, including the third season premiere this September.
Madigan will play Oliva’s (Anna Torv) mother, who is described as a devoted mother with surprising ties to the Bishop family.
Her character may only appear “over there”, which would explain her sudden aliveness and reappearance in Oliva’s life.
Then again, she’s not actually Oliva’s mother — she’s “alternate” Oliva’s mother. Yes, confusing…
