Sony Pictures have released the teaser trailer for the upcoming film ‘The Social Network’, from director David Fincher (‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’).

Written by ‘The West Wing’ creator Aaron Sorkin, ‘The Social Network’ follows the rise of Facebook and social network’s co-founder Mark Zuckerberg.

The film stars Jesse Eisenberg as Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Justin Timberlake as Napster co-founder and Facebook’s founding president Sean Parker and Andrew Garfield as Eduardo Saverin, the Facebook co-founder who had a falling out with Zuckerberg over money.

The film hits theatres in the States on October 1.
