ABC Studios’ ‘Private Practice’ has found its new head-writers.

Writer/producers Steve Blackman and Craig Turk are set to take on showrunning duties for the medical drama as it heads into its fourth season in September on ABC

Blackman and Turk will serve under executive producer and creator Shonda Rhimes, who will continue to oversee both ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Practice’.

Turk joined the writing staff of ‘Private Practice’ when the series debuted back in 2007. Blackman, who joined the show in the second season, wrote the upcoming episode “Triangles”, which airs next Tuesday on Seven.

The duo replace Robert Rovner and Jon Cowan, who left the series in March.
