ABC renews ‘Castle’ for third season

‘Castle’ is officially no longer on the bubble, it’s on fire!
The series hit a series high on Monday night, attracting 14.5 million viewers off it’s ‘Dancing with the Stars’ lead in, giving ABC its best scripted performance in the time-slot in 14 years.
The huge win for the network quickly prompted ABC to hand out a renewal order to the Nathan Fillion/Stana Katic dramedy.
The series has been picked up for a complete 22-episode season next fall (US).
‘Castle’ airs 9.30pm Sundays on Seven.
